Thank you for the fantastic turn out to our Charity concert in aid of the Leprosy Mission. The rousing music and Don’s explanations of the how the songs, originally hymns, came about were greatly enjoyed. Everyone was encouraged to take part, and did so enthusiastically, especially with the more familiar songs!
An excess of tea, coffee and cakes were consumed. However it was too much for one sitting so there was plenty left for the Church service the next day.
Thank you to all for a lovely afternoon and your generous donations, helping us raise a respectable sum of £139.11 towards the Leprosy Misson.
