Surprise!!! George brings 3 girls!!!
I was delighted and amazed when my old mate George came to Lent Lunch with three lady friends in tow!
They came as early as they could and were all warmly welcomed. Along with 26 people they enjoyed the friendly chat, the excellent homemade soup, cheese, and rolls. Then he loudly declared that he would like a walk in the church garden. So I went with him. Afterwards, one of his lady friends told me how much she’d loved getting out of the house and meeting other people. All thanks to the team from Churches Together in Broadway. Then George promptly sat on the lap of one of the girls for the drive home! Well, what would you have expected?
No self-respecting dachshund walks when it doesn’t have to 😉
