Insights into a Sunday Service

Two more members of our congregation gained further insights into how Sunday Services are structured and created. This brings the total number of attendees to nine. Anyone is welcome to join members of our worship group for an informal and informative chat. You can ask any questions you might have as well. You will be helped to a “peep behind the curtain” to discover how the scriptures and hymns are chosen, and how prayers and sermons are created. Boardom Busters! Are GO

Our first Boardom Busters! table games afternoon saw 15 people come together. They choose the games they’d like to play from our large and varied store of games. Then folk were introduced to each other, and old friends reunited, for an enjoyable afternoon. Together we enjoyed:  games we knew, learning new games, the cake, the coffee, the chat, meeting old friends, and began to make new ones. If you’d like to join us – just pop in. Every first Tuesday of every month, 2-4pm in the URC hall. Next ones are 5^th Sept, 3^rd Oct, 7^th Nov, 5^th Dec. Hope to see you then. Or ring Mark on 07949 296 738 to find out more.
